After several years of not owning a Chevelle, I broke down and was able to finally pick up a mint 66 Malibu. I've been on the F-body forums for a while now but I've decided it's time to get back in the cars I like the most. I have a 94 Z28 that is currently for sale so I can put everything into this one. My first car was a 72 and a few years later I got in a 69. I suppose I wasn't the smartest for getting rid of them and I now understand why the people who got them drove away so fast. Anyways, I was able to pick up this one in south Georgia for a good price. It isn't perfect but it's something to work with for sure. The main thing is I get to get on here and discuss the cars and help/get help on various topics. I've already been helped and have taken advantage of the wealth of information here. Thanks for a great site! I hope to converse alot in the future!
Now, on to the car! 66 Malibu, 327 with a little cam (previous owner said a comp 280 but I don't think so) air conditioning and power steering! It now has a turbo 350 tranny in it with what feels to be a stock type converter. I estimate the car at 250-275 horsepower. I really believe headers and a little different head would really wake it up but that will come later. Thanks for looking!
