Hi everyone!

I am presently running a 66 chevelle malibu with a 350 and richmond 4 speed and 3.08 rearend gears. My best time so far is 14.56 at 96 mph. Any suggestions on what rearend gears I should go with if I still want to use the car as mainly a cruiser and secondly a 6 or so times a year go to the 1/4 drag car.

you need to post the engine specs for anyone here to help you with the gearing. also you need to post what your using the car for, daily driver, street/strip, ect.

ok thanks. I am running a 350 bored .030 with trick flow aluminum heads, edlebrock performer intake and 650 edlebrock carb. Has 2&1/2 inch headers and exhaust. Build sheet from almost 5 years ago says it has 360hp. I do not know that as I just bought it a couple months ago. It is a Street/strip car. I do not know any of the internals as I cannot get ahold of the builders who were in Wyoming but have since closed down I guess.

without knowing the compression and cam specs, i would use a 3.73 gear. it`s not too low and not too high.
