Title says it all. I used the dye and it works great. Now should I change the oil or is it ok to leave it for another 800 miles? I just did an oil change and it takes 10 quarts and two filters when I do it, so if I don't need to... I don't want to! graemlins/clonk.gif

I use oil tracer in my 18 wheeler engines pretty often checking for various things.
We don't drain it out after using and I've never had a problem.
Some of these engines currently have over 1.1 MILLION miles on them.
I can't see any problem with leaving it in.

If you don't change the oil your block will glow like Homer Simpson. graemlins/beers.gif Duffs

Don't think it will really hurt anything, it's just organic dye.

Cool, thanks guys. I've put about 150 miles on it yesterday so I pretty much figured if it was going to be a problem, it would have been so already. Thanks for the replies though. Did either of you notice that it makes the oil a greenish tint... almost looks like coolant in the oil? But you can only see it if you wipe it with a papertowel or something white. Strange. Thanks again guys.

Chris, I run my rat up to 7000 often. No way I'd have anything but pure stuff on those bearings at that rate. Change out.
