Anyone have a suggestion on a good pressure plate, that is light on the pedal. My linkage is a bit wore out, and can't take a real stiff pressure plate. So, I'm looking for something that can handle a BBC (11 inch), and not be too hard to push in. I've looked at Zoom, but they don't tell you how much pressure it takes to press it in. I can go a little stiffer than stock, but not a whole lot more.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Fred.

Fred,
I have the Zoom diaphram type PP in my motor.
It has a very light pedal. My wife can drive it with no problems. My buddy has an artificial leg on his left from just below the knee down, and he can push it in w/no trouble.
Been to the track around 40 times now and the clutch has no slippage that I can detect.
best thing is to fixy your linkage

Dave,
I keep saying I'm going to buy new linkage, but it hasn't happened in over 20 years now. The wife keeps me limited on the spending (kids headed to college). Anyway, do you have the Street, Street/Strip, or the Race Zoom PP in your BB?
Thanks,
Fred.
