Did I just buy some nice boxes for $40? I have a sneaky suspicion that these tail light lenses are reproductions.

Can you get your $$ back?? I don't think Glow-Brite was an OE supplier.:( Someone told me that Trim Parts lenses are an exact reproduction, but I still have the dirty, spider-cracked ones on my heap. Trim Parts link-

Glo-brite was an aftermarket manufacturer that made tailight lenses for many popular American car lines. They should not be considered as NOS and are not authentic. Sorry, you did kind of go wrong here if the goal was authenticity.

Yep, Glow- Brite was an aftermarket part. It may be 30 yrs old, but they're not GM. I have a set of those. I found out the hard way too.

If you want to sell the pair for the $40.00 you paid, I might be interested. Don't care about stock parts. PM me.
If your old ones are just dull and not cracked. Give them a good hard wipe with scotch brite and then spray them with a clear coat and they will look great :cool:

Always ask here Before you buy. Glow-Brite is not on my original ones.
Boxes are in rough shape but here are a few more goodies to go along with the lens that i bought in 1982
Actually i just got done selling a bunch of 68 NOS stuff on craigslist, it was time to down size my collection of parts. I sold all for a fair price, buyers of the parts were happy and i doubled to tripled my money.

A few days ago there was a mint set of 68 rear lens on ebay. I never saved the auction number so i'm not sure if it's over yet.
