Hey everyone. We've had an ongoing issue of the wipers on a 65 chevelle that won't park. If you don't time the shutoff of the switch correctly then they will stop half way through there sweep. Its a single speed with a new switch and motor. Any ideas? I tried to ground the motor but that doesn't seem to help. As always any idea are appreciated

I had the same problem on my 67 after having the motor rebuilt. Was a simple fix. One of the grommets should have a ground strap riveted to the base of the motor. At the point of the firewall where that grommet is bolted, you'll need to take some coarse sand paper & remove the paint around that bolt hole. Once the motor has a good ground established at that spot, it should park.
Hope this helps!

I bench tested this as well as used a jumper from the motor to the neg. terminal on the battery and still no dice. Any Ideas?
