I am trying to purchase the sockets for the tail light and the backup lights. I have looked in all the restoration books and none are the same. Ground-up lists only one type (does this socket work for both) OPGI has 2 style a 7/8 and a 1 1/4. Unfortunately I don't have the old sockets. Which is correct? Are the same for the tail and back-up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I measured my tail lights and sockets. The opening in the housing measures a little over
1" and the sockets measure 1". I don't know what the 7/8 and 1 1/4 dimensions refer to. I posted some photos so you can see for yourself. Both the sockets are the same dimensions the difference being the tail is 2 wire and back up 1 wire.
