I recently got a pair of 3973370s from my builder. They are straight plugs were 194s. He cut 2.02s in them, i got the good tripple springs up to 6?? lift. All Manley SS valves, all manley everything. He told me i could buy a set of Aftermarket heads for $800-1000 but they would have cheaper springs, valves, retainers, everything just cheaper...and would have to be gone over anyway before you installed them. SO anyway i got these. He ported and gasket matched intake with the deal too. I had pics of the port job but i cant seem to fine them now.

My questions.
How are these heads flowing do you think??? i know it'll be a guess...but anything would help.

I had a set of 230 2.08s but they would be too much for me. Then there are 195ccs and 200s. What do you think these heads are? i have nooo idea about this haha

I was also told that when you cut 2.02 valves in a head, its better than having a 2.02 set from the factory. Is this true? and why?

Plus why are angle plugs better HP wise than straight? just curious...

These heads are doing me great with my combo so far, i know it could be better track wise but i'm not complaing. I dont think he sold me short with the heads with the improvement i'm getting. Seems like i'm maing sure they he just didnt lie to me to get me to buy his, and not aftermarket.
Thanks
Ed

I believe the intake ports are 167..How were the heads ported with out the use of a flow bench? The head builder should have the flow numbers
