Hey guys,
I am having my washer pump and wiper motor restored and it is missing the foil decal that goes on the canister. I would like to know if anybody reproduces these stickers and what my sticker would have looked like. My car is a 1970 Chevelle SS and I am including my cars info if that helps.

Please know that I just want my car to appear stock and am not going to misrepresent anything. I only have good intentions and am trying to replace what is missing. I am new to this but have heard that there is a way to "guess-timate" when the wiper motor may have been produced by looking at the production date of the car.

Interesting Brian, I just put one of those stickers on my wiper motor this afternoon. I'll try to post a picture later. I make all my own detail decals (springs, shocks, etc.) and made this one as well. Mine is a 69 by the way.

There is a guy on Ebay who makes and sells these on a regular basis for 69's. I don't know if the style is the same for 70's or if he does other years. Might want to do a search.

Thanks I would like to see a pic. I am not sure either if 69-70 decals looked the same.

Here's mine Brian. The colour is actually Silver, the camera flash makes it appear White.

Here is my understanding from a "Deciphering" standpoint (not 100% sure on this):

5045573 - wiper motor part number (mine is the "non recessed" type).
051 - Julian calendar date (this case it is February 20 for my second week of March car).
9 - year.
A 1 - no idea.

I do know the originals had some of the numbers on the second line "not perfectly aligned" horizontally. Unfortunately I was not able to replicate that. I'm happy with the end result and that's all that really matters I guess.
