Not sure if this is just for parts, or if it can be restored, but was wondering if anyone might have an idea of what it might be worth. It might very well be in better shape than my current 67, in which case, I'd put my new parts into this. I was thinking around $1000 to $1500, but I somehow think he's wanting much more

I think I saw that car in the Baltimore Craigslist. He wanted $5000 for it there.

5K with no drive train? Good luck, I'd be thinking more along the lines of a grand also.

Bill I know you have worked your way thru one disappointment after another on this car. It is all part of the learning curve. If the car is going to continue to be something you are not satisfied with finding a place to break and run to stop the bleeding is certainly a viable option. Chunking more money into a losing cause is certainly not a good idea and this car is a long way from being what you need.
Now a little reality if you can understand it is not intended to be offensive. I followed you from the beginning watching every car you posted for comments. As I watched you buy this car I felt it was more out of frustration and being tired of looking as opposed to finding what you were searching for. You could not have had more things go wrong and it seems you are near to having enough. Understandable as we all have gone thru it.
If you can find a way to liquidate out of this and survive it now is a good time to be looking, but not at cars that need it all. There are too many bargains starting to surface. The rollers are too overpriced in regard to cars that are about 50% and up complete.
As the Home depot ad says " You can do it and we can help." A little more patience this time.

I started with a lot less when I picked up my 70 chevelle. A cool project like that, I'd just clean the frame, drop the first running motor/tranny I could find. wire it up then start hunting up some fenders. Great canidate for a bracket car, or a weekend toy. Sure its a SS, but with the original drivetrain gone, just build it and have fun with it. Dont sweat the details just get it so its safe and start driving it. Projects are never really done anyway. Jim

The bumpers are missing too. I would also say about 1000-1500 also judging by the pics.
