I bought a stripe kit for my chevelle from Year One, and the guy who's doing my paint, isn't too sure on how to use the stencil kit. Does anyone have knowledge of these, please give me as much info on painting the stripes on as you can, cause I don't want him to screw it up. Please Help ASAP!!!
The color scheme is metallic silver with black stripes.....

There should have been some instructions in the box with the stencil kit. The instructions will show all required landmarks and measurments along with an explanation of how to put the stencils on the hood and trunk. If you cannot find the instructions maybe you can get (Year One) to Fax you a copy or get the company that made the stencil to fax you a copy.

If you have a factory assembly manual, the locations for the stripes are detailed.
