does anyone know where i can find a conversion plate that will allow you to use a 12 bolt cover on a 10 bolt unit. i have saw one here a couple years back bu cannot find it. thanks

Why would you want to do that??? I think it would just cause more places for leaks to form.

i think you saw a olds rear 10 bolt with 12 bolt cover it was a factorty deal

for what they want for the cover, I'd just save up the cash for when a 12 bolt becomes available. They usually sell for around $250 here. Heck the 3.31 12 bolt under my chevelle only cost me a 100 bucks at a yard sale. But then again, I just had to have a 12 bolt under my 71 camaro. 12 bolts for 2nd gen camaros only came in 1970 cars. So they're a little harder to come by, and Im embarrassed to say what I paid for it. And its still sitting in the garage. jim
