hey does anyone know of a company that makes a 1/2 in fuel line to come out of the factory tank on a 69 or has anyone have any ideas? i have tried the easy way and put a 1/2 hose on the 3/8 pipe but as you can imagine it leaked . any help from some of you race guys would be of great help...

I would try inlinetube.com. They will be able to assist you and answer all questions related to yours.

Check out my wagon website's link found in my signature line. I made my own 1/2" pick up tube for the sending unit, keeping it all looking basically stock. Depending on where you are in Nebraksa, I might be local to you and could help you build your own or show you first hand how I built mine.
