I have a 67 chevelle and the guy i bought it from disconected the entire dash harness and pulled out all of the heater ducts.So i have restored the dash with new everything and dont plan on messing with the heater at this time.But anyway i was wondering if i could check to see if all the lights work without having the motor in the car?I know this is probably a stupid question but i have never done this before.P.S i know there is alot more to this than i know so i am probably screwed if i do this on my own.Thanks Tom

Yes. Just connect the battery. The positive connection has 2 wires. The big one goes to the starter, the small one powers everything else in the car.
