Alright....I know that this has been gone over, but any responses would be helpful.
I am looking for a muffler that is decently quite but good sounding at a low RPM, and absolutley screams at WOT. I want something that barks. I have been looking at Dynomax ultra flows and magnum bullets, but im afraid the bullets are going to be too loud. And ive done flowmaster, I am not a fan of their sound...just doesnt have that late 60's v8 scream

16-18" case 3" pipe in a straight through design should do ya.

I love them cackling, "cop-calling" perforated inner core W/D/T Continental glasspacks!!

Run as long a muffler, (or two mufflers welded end to end), down each side with pipes out the back AND listen to her cackle!!!

I really like my 20" case dynomax super turbo's, except for the drone at 2k rpm. Pretty quiet cruising but you can hear them 1/2 mile away when you romp on it (so I've been told anyway). Running 2" primary headers and a full length 3" system though. I'm also looking for ways to make mine quieter...

Spintechs are exactly what you want - fairly mellow at idle, but at about 2500rpms they open up and almost scare ya. In my sig is my website with a few recordings, check it out.

I run the race series Delta Force Flowmasters. 3" to H-pipe with 3 in mufflers dumped in front of the axle. Really crisp, upnoxiously loud, drone horribly, so in my book for a weekend street/strip warrior there PERFECT! :D But I also take it easy around town and have never had any trouble with the Law.
