A friend of mine is restoring a 68 SS. He needs to know the location of the buttons on the bucket seats and the rear seats. Can anyone pass on the measurements maybe from the upper seam and side seam and the distance in between? Any pictures out on the web? Thanks in advance!

I just went out and measured mine. There are 3 buttons on each seatback and they go on the center vertical stitching and the vertical stitching on either side of center. On the front seats, the buttons are 7 1/4 inches from the top horizontal welting and on the rear they are 11 1/2 down from where the seatback meets the package tray. If you look at the new covers, this explanation will be apparent.
