I have attach a couple of photo's showing a pin & clip and one showing a bolt & nut on a delco starter. Wondering which one is correct for a 66 BB starter. Thanks.

I have an original starter I bought off a 42,000 mile car and it has the nut and bolt. I'm 99% positive the starter is untouched as it still has the clip on the solinoid holding approx. 4 inches of the wires & cable to starter.

The starter with the clip according to the delco # is from a 57 chev with a 6 cylinder. It looked like a good system, so I was skeptical of a change to a bolt and nut. Also there was no marking on the head of the bolt. Thanks.
