New here, Just starting a frame off restoration on a 71 El Camino.. New LS6 454 been in storage for 20 yrs going between frame rails. 3.73 eaton posi. M40 turbo.

I have a few pics.. Car looks like I drug it out of a salvage yard. It's (body)sitting on trailer tonight ready to go to have media blasted in the morning.
Pressure washed frame today to get all grease off before disassembling and sand blasting in a few weeks.
I'm actually doing the restoring in reverse..
I remove sections and restore as I disassemble the car.
Steering column is done, instrument cluster is ready, dash assembly also. Getting ready to install posi and 3.73 gear.
LS6 is being finished this weekend, headers are here- fitting up the flanges to clear the lower head studs.
Looking for a LS6 intake for a Holley.
Once the body and frame come together, It's like Christmas morning installing all the goodies.
