Hey, my 72 chevelle has had some dash problems for a while now but its finally gotten to the point were i need to fix it.

Problems:
1. The CD Deck shuts off/turns back on randomly(shifting gears, braking, just driving)
2. If i have my headlights on and i turn on the wipers, the dash lights go out. Both Turn Signals light up solid green, and it says i have my brights on when i dont.
3. Random combinations of lights on while doing things like turn signals or turning on brights will cause dash to malfunction( Gas tank goes below E and returns once lights are turned off)

I believe it may be a ground issue but im not sure where to find my dashboards ground wire and not sure if its grounded correctly or not.

Sure sounds like no ground or a poor ground.
Try running a ground wire from the isnt. cluster to the parking brake.

Im not exactly sure how i would do that...think you can explain how to do that in a little more detail

Connect a piece of light gauge-flexible wire to a ground point on the cluster and screw the other end of it to the parking brake bracket.
