Hi, I am about to order my ATI balancer for my BBC, i am wondering if i am going to have to plan on finish honing it out for the correct interference fit, i have heard that others have had to do this? or do they usually come about right?

Yes, they are on the low side & come with a big tag that tells you to check them.
You need to check it, we hone most

Yes, we had to hone mine as well.
And of course I got to pay for that.......

Honed mine as well. Took quite a wile to get it honed out enough for it to go on. It was still very snug.

I also had to hone mine, We just used a brake hone and one of those finish sandpaper wheels with the flaps. Of course after we had already broken two installers and one remover:)

They are hone to fit... They also go on easier if you warm them up in the oven. Dont broil! :D

think i will have to have the balance shop compare it to the balancer that was used when they balanced my engine? i used a stock balancer, and now decided to go with the ATI, hope there isn't any balance issues.

did not have to hone mine, miced the crank (Callies) and it was within the spec. I used the aluminum balance with steel hub.
