i installed a tach & gauge cluster today. i am retaining an aftermarket oil gauge fed by tubing down at the sender fitting by the oil filter. i would also like to connect the wire for the oil light that is under the tach. but, because of my headers, i tried putting a t-fitting at this location. although it fit, it placed the oil switch too close to the header. i felt that after awhile, the heat from the header would crack the plastic switch. is there some other location i could mount the switch? it's actually a 72' 402 block.
