IF I remember correctly, the "-" sizes are based on 16 denominator, so a -8 size would be 8/16 or 1/2". Your -6 would therefore be 6/16 or approx. 3/8" which is probably on the small size for your setup.

Can you describe the fuel system? Will it be -6 line from the tank in the back to the regulator? Will the Nitrous have it's own pump and fuel line? What Fuel pump will you be using? Will the pump be gravity fed?

the fuel cell has two -8AN outlets,i'm guessing these are what they call bulkheads? the fuel system kit includes 20ft.of -6AN braided line,a fram canister style fuel filter, a summit 140gph electric fuel pump and a 5-12psi regulator.all of the components are 3/8" npt.if it helps i'll run a separate fuel line and pump for the nitrous.i'm looking at the NX Hitman kit.can i make this system work with my combo or do you think it will starve my engine? thanx.

That system will work great for you.

Although I have no experience with NOS, I have been told from others who do, that usually the nos systems should have their own fuel plumbing and fuel pump when getting to 200 HP and up. probably can use Safety solenoids or pressure switch that restricts the introduction of the nitrous if there is inadequate supply of supplemental fuel.

You'll have to run a short length of -8AN out of the cell of course, then run a -8AN to 3/8" pipe adapter into the fuel filter, then out of the filter with all your -6AN line, fittings, etc. Same way I ran my fuel system.

would i be wasting money to invest in high flow bulkheads or fittings?

If you are thinking of using brass...don't do it. if you need any extra fittings give me a shout.
