ken have you seen the new hot rod book this month they did a test on some intakes for big blocks and the air gap beat them all on the dyno in horse power and tork ,i guess i may even try one on my small block when i put the arf heads that have been sitting in my shop for a year now

JYD, long time no hear/see. How's things? I haven't seen that article you're referring to but would be interested in reading it. I'll try and pick a copy up. I've always wondered if that manifold was better than the performer RPM I use. I've heard folks say the only advantage is cooler carb temps due to the gap, and that the same thing could be accomplished using an oil splash shield in the manifold (which I already use thanks to Tom). I've never really studied the runner design very closely to see what (if any) differences there are between the Performer RPM and AirGap. I'll soon be doing some head work to my canfields. I'm planning on sending a couple of different manifolds to Tommy down at Champion Racing Heads to test ;) Gotta let the big dogs eat :D

mbrown the mag was the latest hot rod .ken i was a little surprised myself and thought of you right away after the way your car fell off with the victer .the air gap beat them all that was tested anyway the regular rpm was right behind the air gap and then the victer.at least in there dyno test .one thing for sure running the 1/8th mile the extra torke would have to help the 60ft times.if your out looking for a track sometimes you and bill come on over to steele sometimes to run .i would love for you to see my buddys 67 chevelle he runs 6.30s in the 1/8 foot braking
