I posted this over in the suspension section, but it was suggested I post it here as well. I am building my Camino for a local 1/8 mile street car shootout, utilizing stock-style suspension components, meaning factory locations, etc. I intend to add a heavy duty anti-roll bar for the rear to help me stay even out of the hole, but since this the first serious door car I have built, I figured I would tap into the forum to get this car down the road. We will have power capable of low 6s, high 5 in the 1/8 mile, running a TH400/brake, with a 12 bolt and 4.88 gears. Minimal weight reduction, maybe hood and bumpers, and gut the interior and engine compartment. Any ideas on how to get this thing down the track?
