I went to Woodburn dragstrip today with my daily driver Nova, I think the only change I made to it was I took 3psi out of the rear tires to see what it would do for traction. So with my all steel body, stock 400 rod/bolt, cast piston, cast crank, stock 1.94/1.5 valves, 385 using 87 octane, and 265/50 BF Goodrich radial T/A's my best was a 12.216 @ 113.20. I figure if I put slicks on it would be a solid 11 second car because my best 60' was a 1.905. So it's time for a roll cage. I really think it would be cool to pull a wheely in front of my college, but thats not gonna happen hehe, I at least have the power to do it:) Im stoked!

Whats it weigh? Just curious. Most tracks have their weigh station open, although my local track doesn't on street nights.

I wieghed it once upon a time and it was 2,9## with a full tank of gas and me NOT in it. I don't have anything unnessasary on the car like inner fenders, front sway bar, etc. All the interior is there though. I also only had a 1/2 tank of gas yesterday I kinda wonder if a full tank would have helped my 60'.

Wish my Chevelle weighed in at 2900lbs, I'd be in the low 11's instead of the low 12's graemlins/thumbsup.gif
