Just installed the headers from Summit part # SUM G-9010 in my 1971 GMC SPRINT with a BB tall deck block and for my surprise it was a perfect fit ,THEY ARE 1 3/4 , 3 INCH EX.I am using tall frame mounts for the HAMBURGER 8 quarts pan Clearance, may be the tall frame mounts are helping,???? , Thanks to MR 4 SPEED that gave me the part # ,I was hopping to cut some of the tubes and bend other but no ,just lift the motor from the driver side and all clear 0K ,even got about a 1/4" clearance between frame and headers in the closer spot , graemlins/hurray.gif
I HOPE THIS HELP MY E/T :D

Chris I am not sure went I can go to the track, 3 weeks ago my car hit the floor it broke the bolt ball joint in half just where the thread ends .
I verify my got intalled 80's cutlass spindles and discs with the stock chevelle 71 ball joints,I got to fix this before anything worst happend ,I am very lucky this was at about 15 mph making a turn close to my house ,just got the car front driver side fender fix .
Now that the car was on the garage ,I put the NEW headers but I did not test it, just an near by cruise at not more than 30mph :( ,you really can rev the motor to 7000- 7200 RPMs now  really runs and sounds diferent .I hope before this month ends the car GOT to be tested :D
