Just wondering if anyone has any photos of a complete big block shortblock. Shots of the bottom half, rods/journals, and the rear of the crank. If anyone has pics of this stuff completed id love to see em' graemlins/waving.gif

I keep getting these urges of fear from my shortblock! I want to make sure I set the thrust bearing correctly, so the crank doesnt "walk" I didnt realize how close the rods were on each shared crank journal. They dont rub off any bad goods do they? That SHOULD make sence, I hope...

Thanks Mike, very helpful pics . It looks like your rods have a little bit of space between each other on the journals? I think mine were touching when I took it appart, but there basically on each other now. It doesnt scrape or anything but it concerns me a bit. I'll post some pics and more info of my shortblock tonight or tomorrow. Im going to have someone check it out before I seal anything up.
