Hello Everyone,

I noticed my front control arm bumpers *the upper a-arm bumpers, the ones that push in* are falling apart since they are the original ones. I pulled them out and purchased new ones, and have no idea how I'm going to push them back into the original frame holes. They are the exact same size as the original ones that were on the car. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks everyone!

Put some type of lube on them like liquid soap or something then push hard

They go in easier that you think.
I simply spray a liberal amount of silicone on the part that goes into the hole, and then push and twist until it goes in.
It does help to compress the suspension as much as possible so that you have more room to get in there (as mentioned, something like liquid soap, vasoline, etc, is also good, don't use any kind of petroleum lube).

And if that does not work also try screwing them in while pushing them in. I had to do it both ways and I also had to use a small screwdriver to push the insert into the frame just enough to get it started and then it slid in.

But, be careful. When I replaced mine, I sliced off the "nub" that goes in the hole. If you twist too much, it will act like a knife.
