Don't worry RatONaStick....if it's not i'll just blame it on you. tongue.gif j/k

UDHarold....as RatONaStick noticed I forgot to ask you whether or not this cam would work with my head set up. I have a set of Performer RPM heads with the stock set up. ( I believe) Would this be ok?

If not then I will be going with the crane energizer 272H10 that you recommended earlier. :D

Thanks in advance! smile.gif

Thanks for the catch on the springs RatONaStick.

PegLeg71,

Yes, I designed the 301A8LUN, in fact all the cams at Lunati with this type of number were designed by me. Steve, who works at Lunati as a salesman, worked for me for 13 years as a salesman, and he had a 71 Chevelle with a 454 in it(the Yellow one with the 2 Black stripes on it...). After a while, he put the BB276/286H12 in his Chevelle, and as far as I know, it is still in there, about 10 years......
I am not sure if they are selling my hydraulics for 149.22 or for 165.44. The 165.44 is what all the solids cost, including my tight-lash series. Any Lunati/Holley dealer can order that part number, although it's posted just on the web.
As far as valve springs, we have run it many-a-time with STOCK springs, although any stock-replacement spring shuld work. It does not need more than 110 lbs on the seat and about 310 open.
