Putting together a Mark 5 502 that when done should be around 600HP for street fun. Motor wont see much more than 6000RPM. I know GM recommends 2" primaries for the stock motors....but I can get a great deal on a used set of coated 2 1/8" hookers. The motor is a merc motor with the cast iron SQ ports. I have 2 different combos and havent decided which way to go but should be close in output. 1st being using a B&M 174 blower, stock 8.75 comp., cam - crane hyd. 236/246 @050 553/571 @114, Barry grant 1030cfm 750DP. 2nd being .030 over 10to1 comp., cam - solid crower 254/260 @050 595/622 @107, wieand stealth intake, same BG 1030cfm 750DP. should I pick up the 2 1/8" headers or are they too big and hurt the low/midrange??????
