this is a very cool 72, love the paint colorrrr.....im thinking of painting white stripes on mine, what do you guys think orange flame with whites or blacks? i like black but white just looks outstandingggg :yes:

That said. I prefer the white with Orange. I think it makes the Orange look brighter!!

i have to tell you, it's one of my pet peeves, and i should be the last one to bitch, being i haven't yet owned an actual chevelle. when i look at cars, it never seems to miss that when i finally find something decent, it has white interior, and i hate white interior. it's just a preference, or i finally find a black interior, and the car has white stripes, ahhhhhrrrrgggg!!! i actually went to see a car once that was dark blue, with brown interior, and white stripes....i almost had a siezure in the drive way.

i agree, i think the stripes should match the interior, not bangin on anybody, it's just my preference. i think the worst i saw was a red car, with green interior, and white stripes. somethings are just not meant to be, honey in mustard, pineapple on pizza, and mismatched paint-interior-stripped cars....oh..and red bull ruining perfectly good vodka.

I had a '72 GMC Sprint that was Flame Orange with white stripes, white vinyl top and white interior. It was gorgeous. I'll send you the pics if you're interested. It really popped.

The white looks awesome. There's enough other black to balance evrything out.
