Does anyone know of a source for screens for the headlight hole for ducting Ram Air through the where the high-beams are (similar to Ford Thunderbolt)??? Is there a company that makes something specifically for this, or do people just find some wire mesh at Home Depot to make them?

I'm thinking about ducting my intake to the drivers' side high-beam (battery is in the way of passenger side) but will use screens on both sides to keep things looking symmetrical... also kind of thinking about those removable headlight covers (like musclecarjohn has on his Camaros) for the outside (high/low beam) for that vintage Trans-Am series look.

Have you checked any ford reproduction parts sites? I'd imagine you can make one of the ford pieces work with some tweaking if no one can find an alternative.

Derek google up McNichols.com "The Hole Story" they carry all types of perforated, woven and stamped metals in SS, Alu. and Galvanized. Great outfit and they will mail it out to you. I have a depot close to me so I just stop on by and pick through their drop-off pile.

What did (will) you use for the single hi/lo headlights?

I've been looking too, and I had best luck looking into 4x4 stuff - Jeep headlight "stone guards" were as close as I've come to finding the perfect headlight screen for a 4-headlight setup.

Other guys are making their own, and some look better than others. I want mine to look like '60s style stuff- like small chain link fencing rather than a stamped piece.
