About to buy balancer for my 489 build up, (internal balance) What diameter do I need?, that will influence my timing cover decision also, 7 inch ATI looks good, or do I need an 8 inch? But most of the 8 inch internal balancers are offshore made. Thanks in advance

Romac makes a 6.25" neutral that I have sold hundreds of over the years with excellent results. They run about $269 shipped to the door.

I bought an ATI for my 496. No issues. A nice touch on that is that it is marked every 90 degrees. That comes in handy to adjust valves on each cylinder in order.
