On my 66 the kickdown linkage was hanging under the car near tranny it seems the little ball connector does not stay in the rod. what part is played the ball or the rod??? and were can i find these parts??? it a powerglide. any answers will help thanks:beers:

I just ordered lokar kickdown cable kit from summit I am hoping that will do it. Anybody tried this???

Sounds like your talking about the rod that runs from the bellcrank down to the transmission. I just went through this and got one from Classic Muscle. Go to www.oldmusclecars.com, Select the link to the Chevelles, select Order Parts, type in the part number. 3868694 for BB, 3830310 for SB.
