The new Summit catalog features a new head for the small displacement sbc (283/307 etc). It features a 58cc combustion chamber, 175 cc intake port and 1.94/1.50 valves. Seems like you could make a killer "little motor" using them. Has anyone heard anything about them? flows numbers etc.

Only when they have been a bigger motored car. I had a 283 in high school and it could put a whipping on pretty much all the smog era cars. The funny thing is I knew it wasn't fast. But have allways had a week spot for little motors and wondered if good parts were available for it how it could have run. Just thought these heads could be a foundation for a nice 283/307/327 car that alot of people still eem to run on this board. A mid 12 second 283 could be pretty cool.
