I have a 2004r from them, I installed Sept 07. I have heard a lot of negative things about there trans since I installed mine. Linkage and the TV cale adjustments are very important. The only complaint I have is it does not shift a firm as the turbo 350 with a shift kit I took out. Love the mileage, jumped about 4-5 miles per gallon. Have not really clocked it yet (can't keep my foot off the floorpan) but will this summer if I want to drive it a lot will try too. I was getting 11-12 mpg with a 388 stoker, 4.11-12 bolt posi gear, dart 200cc heads and comp cam XE268 with 1.6 ratio roller rockers, and 28" 275x60x15 ties, 2500 rpm lockup stall converter. Its supposed to be good to 450 hp and I am in the 425 range. It is much quicker with the gear ratio being closer and better. One thing for sure I cannot open it up all the way for very long, I tend to run out of hwy. I have noticed that they have really gone up in price since I ordered mine last August. I have really no complaints about there product or tech support. Time will tell, I still have warranty till November 08. Good luck.

My Uncle just got a unit from them and installed it in his 68 SS Chevelle behind his 454. The trans shifts real nice and seems to work well I did all of the adjustments on it for him since I learned from my Dad since he was a GM Master Tech when he was still with us. I beleive that he got their race one. One thing I was surprised on is the unit my Uncle has the line pressure is not controlled by the VB. It is essentially constant pressure. The only time you see it switch is when you change gears. Time will tell but it seems like a real nice unit. Oh his is a 700-R4, guess that might help you.

I've only heard good things.

Also take a look at http://www.jakesperformance.com/ Jake has a great reputation at this site and a lot of guys swear by his work.

I went for a local shop to do the whole swap on my ride: I didn't trust myself for all the install/adjustment in my own driveway. Turned out great...

I have spoken (and plan to do more) with Jakes Performance to fix the POS Monster Trans I have in my car. For what it's worth it's their "stage 2" TH-200.

I'm wonderingow TCI's constant pressure valve body might work for and a new govenor. hmm

I build 200-4R's with fixed line pressure in some cases. (Constant pressure as some call it).
