I have a 454 .060 over with 990 heads, wieland intake and holley carb. Mostly all stock. Want some more pep and rumble. Guys give the right specs and cam manufacutre you would suggest. Please help ready to order get it in. Thankd for all your help.

You don't want us shade trees to recommend a cam do you?? Call the experts, Comp,Crane,Lunati,LSM,Cam motion,,,give them your specs,,,weight,gears,trans,converter,what you plan on doing with the car. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Sure, if its between 9.6 and 10.25:1 compression( those 990s are iron aren't they) use a grind LIKE the Lunati 276/284 F110, if its more use the 288/296. The smaller should work with 3K stall and 3.55's, while the bigger would prefer more of everything. Some small solid roller might be interesting, again the 276/284 Luntai or the 288AR comp. I'd stick to a pretty big split duration with the 990s though.
