I was at a large swap meet this past weekend and there was a guy with a complete Cragar brand supercharger for sbc.

That was the first time I got to see one up close and I think it may have been the first time seeing one in person. (Seem to recall seeing one on a mag feature car or something like that).

How rare are those things and when was Cragar making them?

cragar also made aluminum rear window louvers in the 80's.i wish i would have snagged some for the 'velle.can't find'em now.

You're talking about the ones on the outside, like the old Plymouths and Dodges had, right? Those were cool. How about those aluminum blinds that went inside the rear window? Had some on my '69 Valiant. :D

I think they used to make ignitions many years ago also

my dad and i looked at an 83 Z28 that had the cragar louver on it. pretty cool.

hurst used to make alot more stuff than just shifters. didnt they make suspension and engine parts as well. they have an add in my 1973 car craft mag. they are pretty neat as well.
