I am interested to know what weighs less, stamped metal inner fenders or plastic inner fenders. Obviously metal weighs more than plastic but I remember seeing a plastic inner fender and noticing how thick and dense the plastic was.

having stripped a few cars, i'm pretty sure the plastic fenders are lighter than the stamped steel ones. if you're in the market for new ones, just get plastic ones. they look real nice when you armor all them up. and if you're racing, don't even bother with fenderwells.

I've found this A-Body w/o motor or trans for a great price. The car itself is solid. I am planning on building it into a "sleeper", and running it w/o inner fenders is a dead giveaway.
