I bought a B&M Adjustable kickdown cable, TH350 Tranny to 454. Once you find your size you lock down that little nut which has the little lock ring inside of it. Well I tightened everything down and it was in the wrong spot, the little clamp ring cuts a little bit into the rubber part of the line and I couldnt get it off without breaking it. What can I use now? I dont think its possible to get a new one on the cable, is there something else I can use so it locks properly? I hope that made SOME sence.

Is it supposed to be adjustable until you find the sweet spot?. If it is, return it and let them know it broke when you tried to adjust. Maybe they will let you exchange it for a new one.

It might still lock down if I put a grommet or something in there, I'll do this last, I can still break in my engine without it. I got it from my work so I guess I could just bring it back in, only thing is it was the only one in stock so I get to wait smile.gif
