Now I'm guessing the headers are OK size (and I know I've asked that before, but just making sure..). Just wondering what are some fairly inexpensive (i.e. I don't need to pay for a brand name if they're going to do the same thing) that will fit a BBC in my '71 Chevelle with A/C, PS, PB, and is floor shifted? Just wondering if anyone has any experience and could help me out, I am hoping to make an order tonight. Dynomax or Hedman's maybe?? Thanks everyone.

I did a search, so far it seems the best fit might be the Summit headers, such as part number SUM-G9010. But, these are 1 3/4''...and I really can't seem to find any 1 7/8 headers. Would 3/4 be too little size for my engine, or maybe better? Thanks.

1 3/4 headers are popular with many big block owners on Team Chevelle. Would probably be a fine choice for your hot rod.

If you want 1 7/8, you can get Hooker Super Competition, Stahl, or Doug Thorleys.
