I pulled my engine and did an oil pan gasket replacement. I have a rollerized cam button installed with my Hydraulic cam. (engine builder installed it)I bought a new timing cover (cast aluminum) and it wont fit because of the button. It doesnt appear that even if I machine the cover it will sit flush with the block. Can I just take out the button? or is it wise to have it in there? TIA

Leave it out.
Completly unnecessary except with a retorfit roller. ;)
