Congratulations, Pat graemlins/thumbsup.gif I'm curious what sort of lights you were cutting and how close to your dial you were running to win that many rounds? Either way, that's a great accomplishment! I wish I would have taken you up on the invite now. Maybe next year... This was 1/8 racing, right?

Thanks alot, no really fantastic runs I was struggling with the tree there on Sat. I think the rollout there is much different than I am used to,so I was rollin in almost tickling the prestage bulb so that was really killing the et.Started the day at 10.41 and finished at 10.47 the humidity was really choking it off.For the most part I was in the .01x or low .02x range.

Ken, it was 1/4 and I was within .01 on all the full runs I made, generally I was lifting on them at or a little past the mph box,I had one I should have lost he had me on the tree but broke out by .08 I was dead on with a .002.I don't know if he had room to cut me in I haven't looked at the tickets yet, they wouldn't even give me any significant cool down time.

nice job pat ,it doest matter how you get the rounds as long as the green light comes on in your lane.it takes a little luck and alot of skill to win a race

I was there too. On sunday when the rain started we waited for about an hour and then left. We had been there all day saturday too so it was kinda the same thing sunday but still awesome. Do you have a pic or something I'm sure I saw you race in the morning I watched almost all the beginning races. And have pics of almost every car that was there.

Cool deal Pat. Sorry I missed it. I hope we can all get together for another event in 2004. Mike that sounds good, let's try to do something when it's not 97 in the shade and 99% humidity :D .I am not a big fan of all those bees either, is it like that all summer?

[/QB]Yes, it tends to be pretty hot in Georgia in July. Guess I'm used to it, although it's still pretty miserable. Maybe I just remember wrong, but I was thinking that when I lived in south Florida and raced at Moroso, gates opened late in the afternoon and the bulk of the racing took place in the cooler night air. I have no idea why Atlanta Dragway insists on racing in the heat of the day. Maybe it's a noise curfew, maybe it's racers wanting to get home earlier, I don't know. But I still would rather race at night smile.gif

Hey,I just uploaded about 40 pics I took at the SCS mostly chevelles and a few camaros and a couple cool oldies. Also some pics where I recovered my front sofa, and for those who wondered what a front bench weighs it is 97lbs.Feel free to check them out on my sight.

Nice pics, Pat. So does that mean the sofa is back in for good? Looks like the side bar height may be a little questionable? Either way, looks killer. I have one of those poly seats in my car now. I really don't like the way it looks. I may end up putting the stock bucket back in so it matches the passenger side. Not sure what I can do about the head rest requirement other than welding a headrest on my bar, which would probably look worse than the poly seat graemlins/clonk.gif Nice wheels up launch pics at Gainsville, too.

Now, that it is recovered I am going to leave it in.It is much more comfortable than that plastic thing and the car runs the same with or without. The bars are legal,so all is good.I have had tech say stuff about the headrests as well, that's why I put the poly seat in to go to Atlanta, plus it gave me somewere to put luggage :D .I was after the camera man to get a better picture too and he kept missing me,if you look at the pic. that is about 10ft out with the front on the way down.I wanted one at max lift and he just kept missing, just like my usual photographer ;)but she usually has a couple graemlins/beers.gif so it's o.k.
