Im looking at putting a TPI 5.7l motor in to my 69 malibu with camel hump heads 9.5 compretion, large tube headers, and a comp cam 8420-8 ( With .5 int lift, .5 exh lift, ivo 29, ivc 61, evo 69, evc 21, and a cam adv +4) it gives me 392 hp @ 5000 and 456 toq @ 4000 on dest top dino. Im going to be using this for a every day car but im not shure if its going to be to much. Oh ya im going to put a T56 6 speed trany on it. :confused:

You don't need 'large tube headers' with a mild setup like this. Some 1-5/8" x 40" with 2-1/2" collectors would work very well.
