I'm want to build a 383. Its going into a 70 chevelle with a Th 350 I rebuilt with 5 clutch set up and stage II kit. 10 bolt 2.73 non pos rear (some day 3.31 12 bolt $$). I want the car to sound like a muscle car and not be sluggish at slow speeds. I'm looking for spec's on a 383 that will fit my needs, or if there is a complete kit out there that will work. I also need advise on what head set up to go with. (cheap, but good) or is is worth having my heads rebuilt (3973487 71-72 350 used on 71-72 350 LT1, 75cc chamber I have a 350 4 bolt block .030 over.
