That's what happens when you eat too much puffer fish. The toxins start to numb your brain.

So what's up with all of the HUGE nose wings? Also, don't you like the coolers mounted on the front wings? Almost dragging the hoses....... I will NEVER understand!

????????? Hope they run beadlocks!

What's with the pipe organ look in Japan? When does it become couterproductive to have that much crap literally hanging off your car? I wouldn't think you could go over 30 mph before the wind would rip the "stacks" off the back of your car.

I LOVE the tailpipes!

My fave: http://inokoshientotsu.hp.infoseek.co.jp/massuru2005/2005massuru177.jpg

At least some of the work looks like it is done nicely. If those cars were here, half of them would be bare plywood.

There was a video posted on here last year of these cars cruising around a parking lot with their 20ft long tail pipes.... Adds weight to to the rear.. they are hoping to get the front wheels off the ground.. LoL..

Though I do not understand.... you have to give em credit for being creative!

I bet they are a bunch of young kids keeping busy with their car instead of doing bad ****!

Don't laugh, remember what many of our cars looked like during the 70's ... even Detroit played along ala the 10th anniversary edition Trans Ams factory with silver metalic seat covers and silver shag carpeting ... not to mention the N50s shoved under flared fenders on your Nova that was jacked up in the rear with extra leafs, air shocks and extended shackles (don't forget the white painted rear differentials and the cherry bombs turned out infront of the rear wheels or better yet a cheap set of side pipes if you could afford them ...

These cars look silly to us, but look back at your buddies "cool" car from high school................

It's all about having fun!

I'm not trying to defend their Transformer/Dragonball/Speedracer design ques but I would not call their cars slow. When I was stationed in Okinawa there was a car call a Skyline with a DOHC, EFI, turbo charged inline 6 and they were fast. All the GI's that were into racing tried to get a Skyline. One GI I was stationed with completely disassembled a Skyline engine and mailed it home to put it in his 280Z. With very few mods the Skyline would run low 10's in the 1/4 at the Naha race track. Plus the turbo Fairladys (300Z) and the RX7s would give anyone a run for their money.

Ha Ha, I had one of those "Jacked Up" Nova's in high school, but not cherry bombs, I had Purple Hornies!

Nope. Here's an example of the setup, with some 35's. Not as extreme as I've seen, but you get the picture. Check out the offset on the wheels, too. Those unitized hubs up front have got to be screamin'. My buddy had trouble with those hubs while running 35's with a lot less offset, used to change them about once every couple of years. These probably go a year or less.

Here's some with 15.5 wide tires, ready for your truck. :clonk:

It all goes back to anime....its the cartooons....its the speedracer like stuff.

Walk around SF and although you dont see the cars you see teenagers and early twenties folks that actually look like cartoons with a Bon Jovi circa 1985 haircut grafted on. They're really into that stuff over there (I dont mean that as a knock). I think its these same generation or kind of folks that have these cars. Either that or its a reverse kind of joke on a grand scale and they're laughing at us believing that they drive and show off these things.

Bukaki, saki and anime...and look what happens to your cars! :D

Who would have thought that by adding an oil cooler and a cardboard spoiler to the front of your Cressida you have a hot rod.

Yikes!!! Are these cartoon inspired designs? Some of them looked snow plow inspired. Others seem to be on IVY.

No way! One burnout with the wife's truck and those things would fry the bead clean off! (it happens quite often and unintensionally nowadays with the new bb) The first time I took it out, I fried the 35's pulling out into traffic. It caught me a little off gaurd. Plus that crap is no good for crawling. You need a wide foot print, but not like that. Some people just don't get it, I guess.

Sorry, all the cardboard threw me off and my ability to identify cars from the tail lights stops at mid 80's American cars. ;)

I dont understand the big chin spoiler look. Not to mention the transformer body kit look on all those cars either. Can you imagine being the only one driving an american muscle car through the that show. Loud cam and flowmaster exhaust. Maybe even a blower sticking through the hood.
