Went a 136mph trap speed with my 3020 (weight on track) car.
I made 671hk on my dyno run, but changed fuel mapping since then and gained from 128-136mph
Is it possible to run these trapspeeds with a lower HP than 671 or should it be higher and my mods had gain power?
Using a 10" A1 converter with 3000 stall, 4,56 rear with 33"/17" slicks. The car is a 72 Lemans.
Best run this weekend was 9.96/136 with 1.45 60:ie N/A
Started @10.20 and then put more duration on my acc-pump to get better 60:ies. My A/F logs view a lean spot now, buts it less than before. Gained from 1.54-1.50-1.47-1.45.

Unless you ran your air system, exhaust system, same accessories on the dyno, & happen to be running in air that is 60 degrees & a barometer of 29.92 which is the correction factor used by most engine dyno facilities you will have less HP than the dyno shows.
The difference between 128 & 136 MPH is approximately 90 engine HP at your weight
This is why the dyno is a comparative tool & is excellent for evaluating changes but is not a great predictor of what you are going to run in MPH unless you are running on a 60 degree day & the actual barometer is about 29-30 hg
The MPH you run is a very good predictor of the HP you have under a given set of circumstances though ;)
I never use ET to base HP number on as the ET part is up to you :D
You can estimate what ET your are capable of given a certain speed but there are way too many variables to use ET as a predictor of speed or HP. ;)

That wasnt too much HP. But it was about 15 deg Celcius intake temp when i dynoed. Now i have 28 deg Celcius.
And i use a full Exhaust system now.
So i need to get a 145 trap speed to have a strong 468 bigblock. ,(
But what the heck. Ill fix that ;)

I'd say your 468 runs purdy darn good.
From Sweeden?
How cool.
