Do You Have To Remove The Gas Tank From A 70 Wagon To Replace The Sending Unit Or Is There Room Without Removing It

Get out as much fuel as you can. Mark and tag lines. To be honest you may break a tank strap, Depending on rust. Remove the sending unit wires. The problem with my sending unit. A little wire on the sending unit broke off. I soldered it back on and it was fine. If you can, Replace to " O " ring on the sender when you put it together. It sounds E-Z and it is --- IF --- nothing breaks or goes wrong. What are the chances of NOTHING going wrong????
