I am installing a 68 SS dash with tach and have been looking for wiring diagram for car with tach and gauges. Have purchased several wiring diagrams that were supposed to cover all models. None of them show the gauge and tach option.
Any idea where I can get a copy of one?
Gauge unit has just been refurbished and I do not want to hook it up incorrectly.

The only one I've found is from www.classiccarwiring, and it isn't correct.
Are you using the factory harness? If you are, the connectors are different configurations for each gauge, so they can only be installed one way.
The connector wire colors are--
ammeter, black and black/white
fuel gauge, tan and pink-same as non-gauge
temperature gauge, dark green and pink
tachometer, dark brown and pink.
