I have a L76 Motor with the original dual snorkel chrome air cleaner and chrome valve covers it came out of a 1964 chevelle convertable that i once owned years ago i have had this motor sitting in my garage for over 20 years what do you think this motor is worth?? thanks tony

Dunno, but kind of interesting. My 64 book shows that L76 was a cancelled option but the cancelation date was April, 64.

when somebody new ahows up here and their first post is like yours, asking for valuation, it's often viewed as a thinly disguised "For Sale" ad, which ads are not permitted in the tech forums.

Also, several experts agree that no L76 was ever sold to the public. I recommend you post an ad in the ads section of this board and be prepared to give reasons why you believe this to be an L76. Valve covers and air cleaner housings don't make an engine.

Additionally, it is preferred that you post questions in only one section of the forum, duplicates in more sections may be locked or deleted.
